Q: When is the next Winter Games NZ?
A: The next Games will be held between Friday 24 August and Saturday 8 September 2018. All the action takes place at the ski fields around Queenstown and Wanaka with curling in Naseby.

Q: How much does it cost to watch the Winter Games NZ?
A: Watching the sports events, including all World Cups, is absolutely free. You will need to purchase a lift pass if you want to ski/ride at any of the venues but most competition areas are walking distance from the venue base buildings.

Q: How about the festival?
A: The opening ceremony at Downtown Wanaka and closing ceremony at Cardrona Alpine Resort are free to watch, as are all the live music concerts, DJ sets, film sessions and medal ceremonies. For more details on specific festival events visit our festival page plus Facebook and Twitter.

Q: How can I watch the Games if I’m not there?
A: We’ll be announcing full details closer to the Games but live streaming will be available in certain countries via our website. We also expect to have free-to-air TV coverage in New Zealand in addition to highlights packages with different broadcasters around the world. Q: Is there live scoring available during the Freeski & Snowboard World Cups?
A: Sure is! We’ll share the live scoring link on the Freeski/Snowboard page when the competitions start.

Q: I’d like to volunteer, how do I sign up?
A: Easy! Just click here and you’ll be taken to our dedicated volunteers page with more info. Volunteer registration will open closer to the Games.
